About Tatie Leïla

Born and raised in Paris, Leïla brings authentic French culture and language to the Monterey Peninsula. Growing up in a family-owned daycare, she spent her childhood immersed in early childhood education - learning firsthand how young children absorb language through play, music, and movement.

After earning her degree in International Business Management from London Metropolitan University and living across multiple countries, Leïla discovered her greatest passion: raising her three children and sharing the gift of French language with other families.

Drawing on her Parisian upbringing and years of international experience, Leïla created On Y Va! Let's Go to combine her love of the outdoors, music, and early language acquisition. Her classes transform the stunning Monterey landscape into an immersive French learning environment where little ones naturally absorb the language while exploring nature.

Our Approach: French Through Adventure

Unlike traditional classroom settings, On Y Va Let's Go! brings French learning outdoors - to beaches, parks, and nature trails across the Monterey Peninsula. Your little one will discover French naturally through:

  • Music & Movement: Songs on guitar and ukulele that make French vocabulary stick

  • Nature Exploration: Learning colors, animals, and action words while hiking, beach-combing, and playing

  • Yoga & Body Awareness: Discovering body parts and positions in French through gentle movement

  • Cultural Immersion: Authentic Parisian traditions and playful French games

Small class sizes (maximum 7-8 children) ensure personal attention and create a warm, supportive community of families discovering French together.
